Been saying this since the B Grade took it right up to the A Grade in the internal.

I'm 100% certain we've had a horrendous preseason. They have not worked anywhere near hard enough, injuries, covid, players just allowed to train by themselves in other states, etc, it's clearly been an absolute shambles.

Our injury management in particular has been so phenomenally bad it isn't funny. The Duursma game today is the icing on the cake.

Bergman the only one deserving of a call up. Visentini is incredibly raw but bloody exciting, wouldn't surprise if he debuts over Lord/Hayes. Sinn is a horrible kick, no idea why they've talked it up. The game plan is horrible, we're a kick mark team, no overlap run and carry to create the play. We don't use handball to get a clear player. Our positioning/structure is horrid, multiple players sucked into the contest, no ground ball positioning from a marking contest.

would dominate back in the SANFL but not really seeing it yet. The way the team is playing would make anyone look below their best though. Hopefully Hinkley's probable imminent departure will have a positive effect on the Magpies going forward.
