You mean you weren't trying to sabotage your team all season?
Well if I was I did a poor job by missing the playoffs in the last week instead of being out of contention by about week 8.

You mean you weren't trying to sabotage your team all season?
And here I was thinking you were doing that in the post season

I think it's now time for people to realise that I am the king of cutthroat.
Six years.
Six playoff appearances.
Five division titles.
Three championship finals.
And finally a title to go with all that this year.

ALL HAIL THE CHAMPION!!!!

Well done mate. I'd argue Brasher is still the overall king of CT though...

BOWL RESULTS for 2014 SEASON.

Congratulations to arakaan for being the Grand Champion of Cutthroat 2014.
And to BeinPurplenGreen for being the Propeller Bowl Champion (winner of the top 2 power ranked teams).

How to read the table below...

All the teams who won their leagues (finished 1st in their league therefore), are pitted against each other, with the top week 16 scorer being the grand champion of Cutthroat. That Bowl Game is called Guillotine Bowl.

The Propeller Bowl is the top two Power Ranked teams at the completion of the regular season facing off.

All the runner-ups of their leagues (finished 2nd), are pitted against each other in the Garrote Bowl.

Etc etc down the placings all the way to all the last placed teams playing in the Shiv Bowl.

The yellow font indicating all the Bowl winners.

Macuahuitl had 4 bowl winners: 4th, 6th, 8th, 11th
Chainsaw had 3 bowl winners: 1st, power rank, 7th
Trident had 3 bowl winners: 2nd, 3rd, 5th
Kpinga had 3 bowl winners: 9th, 10th, 12th

Robbed. Lousy Dalton putting Green almost literally in hospital yesterday. ;)

Seriously, congratulations to all. It's been a blast, again. Can't wait for next season.

The Good:

Beast and LeVeon Bell drafted back to back in 1st and 2nd round.
Maclin in FA.
Luck's dominance.
Bradley Fletcher being a gun in fantasy despite being actually useless.

The Bad:
Losing Chancellor to injury.
Being unable to figure out the DL for ages.

The Ugly:
Harvin.

Being unable to figure out the DL for ages.

DL/DE is the worst and most hardest possy ever to be stable in.

Unless you have JJ Watt everyone is a lottery and breakout years for players are rarely backed up. Just ask Larkis who traded up to grab Quinn in the 1st Rd and he sucked for his standards this year after a massive breakout year the season before.

20pts one week for these players than 3pts in each game for a month! Back it in though as soon as you cut em they start scoring! lol

Next season my last 3 rds of the draft will be DL / DL than QB. No more am i spending mid round picks on a DL as never are the ones you drafted on your roster come seasons end.

Where Murray is drafted next season will be interesting after this season and i will say easily Top 5 or maybe even No.1.

I still want the Kicker option next season GG and this is a better scoring position than DL most weeks!

Will add kicker. We used to have it first few years.

Yeah i remember it and they decided a few games off their own boot!

50+yd FG's are dynamite! Any miss though screws you! lol

I don't know how much leeway ESPN provides for scoring options but for kickers i reckon the ideal format would be....

50+yd FG made = 5pts. Miss = -1

40 - 50 yd FG made = 4pts. Miss = -2

30 -40 yd FG made = 3pts. Miss = -4

0-30yd FG made = 2pts. Miss = -5

EP's made = 1pt. Miss = -6

Blocks also count as misses.

This seems o.k and makes the better kickers in the league with massive legs huge value scoring wise. Also make you weary taking a kicker from a team with crap special teams if they are giving up blocks etc!

In my private league, we score kickers as follows:

PATs: 0.2 points
Missed PAT: -1 points
FG 0-39 yards: 1.5 points
FG 40-49 yards: 2 points
FG 50+ yards: 3 points

FG 0-39 yards missed: -1.75 points
FG 40-49 yards missed: -1.25 points
FG 50+ yards missed: -0.25 points

I would much, much rather that any new league with Ks was a separate CT - I find that CT is far more unpredictable and much more fun without Ks.

Although the way larkis strikes out there are still plenty of Ks every year...

Enjoyed this season... Managed to hold off on the temptation of having a full squad each week, and played with a few zeros during bye weeks. Got through the playoffs, but again didn't venture too far. Learning different strategies each season! Well done to all the bowl winners, and I look forward to another CT year in 2015.

What does everyone think about this site?

http://www.fleaflicker.com/nfl/

It's won multiple awards against rivals like ESPN, Yahoo, MFL, etc etc.

It's FREE, year round, non-stop, even more customization than most others, etc.

Have to register to be able to check it out properly, but, im always open to upgrading the fantasy provider.

Had a quick look, a few features I would definitely use but would need an account within a league to look properly.

Open to using it next season however I know a lot of people would be hesitant to move as most of our leagues are on ESPN.
