List Mgmt. 2014 Trade and Free Agency Targets Thread

Friday October 3 - NAB AFL restricted FREE AGENCY offer and unrestricted free agency period begins
Monday October 6, 10am - NAB AFL TRADE PERIOD begins
Monday October 13, at 5pm - Close of NAB AFL restricted FREE AGENCY offer and unrestricted free agency period
Thursday October 16 - NAB AFL restricted FREE AGENCY matching offer three-day period ends
Friday October 17, at 2pm - NAB AFL TRADE PERIOD closes

Seen most other team boards with a similar thread to this up already, thought it was time to do likewise.

I’d love to get some of the GWS boys that have not cemented a spot in their team like O’Rourke, Tomlinson, Jaksch, Sumner and Plowman all Victorians.

Tom Bugg is another Victorian GWS boy, would like us to go after him again.

Out of the free agents I’m most interested in Bryce Gibbs who happens to be a north supporter as a kid

Buntine is another GWS high pick who can't get a game.

Bugg would be goodas would Gibbs.

Fairly sure Gibbs went for Richmond.

Aside from that I don't really want to think about this until our season is over.

Gibbs and Frawley would be great in a situation where we don't have a salary cap and have money to burn. But all things considered, they should not be considered.

I'd happily throw around our first pick and see if we get any interest. Jaksch and Tomlinson still interest me.

Mundy and gray are the only ones i would chase as the rest are either to old or asking for to much coin.

GWS have a stack of depth not getting games- have we got anything they would want- experience would be the only thing.

When it comes to Kade Simpson, all rationality goes out of the window for me.

Absolutely love the guy. Would kill to have him at North.

Don't see the point.

Gray, Frawley and Mundy are the cream, Gibbs is meh for the cost he would demand.

But yeah, trading for one of the tall GWS KPP's is the way to go.

O'Rourke, Plowman and Jaksch uncontracted. Plowman is getting games now so that probably puts a line through him. Tomlinson, Hoskin-Elliott, Buntine, L.Sumner and Corr all worth a look as well, though I think they're contracted.

GC have less talent in their 2's but Luke Russell might be worth a look. Jesse Lonergan if he can't get a game (which I expect he will when he's fit). Matt Shaw looks like being squeezed out by Kolodjashnij so he'd be a reasonable option as well.

Good reliable player who would definitely be best 22 with us. Would be a good lockdown player but could find his own footy if we released as well. We could use more players with his accountability.

Higgins likely has some quality. I just feel he's one shove away from a retirement with his injury troubles.

I pay no attention whatsoever to Geary though.
