Not a good look for Tat. Why would anyone want to coach there if this is the way they get treated. No one can question Donks effort and passion, not sure what else the club expected from him.
 
Was handled poorly , Donk deserved better than that after what he did for the club last season , shame to loose of the good blokes of footy .
 
Jimmy Hollow gone from Rochy to the EDFL. Probably Westmeadows. Dorrington to Square. Greene doubtful at best. Watson out for the best part of the season with his finger injury.
 
Tat look like they are losing a few. Wellington to Merrigum, Sonny Whiting back to Tassie, Lanyon O/S & James Sullivan to Bendigo is the word.

Also heard the the VFL boys and Broadbent not coming back. Be a very interesting year for the Dogs after what has happened.

Not sure about that but have picked up Jake Wilkinson and Cameron Valentine who will be very handy inclusions. Valentine was on the radar of AFL clubs 3-4 years ago so if he returns to that form will have a big impact

Not entirely true. They have lost one but the other two are playing at Echuca. Both trained on Monday night at our first training and have signed at the club. As Echuca know with the Kane Morris affair last year that a contract is a contract and they have signed. Both are happy and will stay. Saying that Echuca would not hold anyone to the club if they decided to leave. One of the guys they signed from leitchville has decided to stay for big dollars but will be interesting to see if that remains the case. Half the team have left and they have no coach.

Just on coaching..it appears to be getting more and more difficult for clubs to attract them?

Will only get worse .... why coach when you can get ridiculous sign ons and equally crazy coin to play far enough away from home that you can maybe train once a week :D

Players getting paid more than coaches seems to be the 'in' thing atm. You are spot on Doona; some players in Metro Melbourne getting 30K sign on payments. I think its also getting more and more difficult to recruit players to country areas from Melbourne.
