Clay Pigeons is an underrated movie in general though.

I think he's referring to him not being funny, even in the roles he's meant to be.

There is a lot to be hyped about, but honestly though, that sounds like the concept for just about every cop show on basic cable.

The amount of hype (ridiculous levels) people have gone into about season 1 means that season 2 will always be a failure for those clowns.

I think Vince Vaughn will surprise us.

I just watched and caught up on this series, finished the last episode tonight.

Perhaps I was just subjected to too many of those romantic comedies, but I was gobsmacked at Matthew McConaughey's performance. Maybe goes to show sometimes these obviously talented actors just need some decent material to work with. I hope I'll be similarly impressed with Vince and Colin, although I know Matthew and Woody set the bar rather high.

Can't wait anyways.

That's what I was thinking but apparently that's the plot line in every cop cable show.

If its first half of the season is 80% as good then its a fair chance to be better. Last 2-3 episodes of season 1 were garbage compared to the first 5-6

I like the casting of Vaughn. I think he as you put it has the ability to "surprise us" because (at least for me) we know him more as a comedic actor. I've liked what i've seen of his dramatic performances in the past.
