How good is Dayne Beams?

Beams was in the top 3 Midfielders in the game a few months ago. Now he is just a B grade hack who plays for Brisbane.

Don't know what all the fuss about Rich is.
He's a b-grader at best, had his 10secs of fame with the rising star and hasn't shown any improvement since.
Wouldn't be surprised if he loses his senior spot with beams and Christensen coming in.
You loook at someone like a beams who was 3rd/4th best mid at collingwood and still twice the player of rich and you realise why the bears were so desperate to bring him in to prop up their struggling midfield.

BBB isn't serious most of the time, at least he's not as bad as almost 10 years of subtle anti-Collingwood posts.

Well since he doesn't play for the Pies anymore, he is s**t.

Do you think Hanley will be a full time midfielder? With Redden, Beams, Rockliff and Rich already wanting plenty of centre square time and pace on the wings with Aish and trying to squeeze all the other young midfielders in for a little time rotating through it's hard to see another full time mid. Wont be enough minutes unless one of the other 4 drop out. Maybe Rich will give up time coming back from the reco?

He was this year. Certainly struggled with the tag in the first half of the year. His second half of 2014 was very impressive. He adds something a bit different then Rockliff and co do. He's quick, evasive and started busting out of packs a bit more often. His improved inside game should only keep getting better. I think Rich will spend a bit of time rotating all over the ground in 2015.

It'll certainly be interesting to see what we do.

I am serious. Aside from winning a rising star what has Rich done? Nothing. He's been a top 10 player in a bottom 4 side, and not done anything. He developed early and had a big body for a youngster which is why he was able to win the rising star but hasn't developed his game at all since. Hasn't improved in three years and now coming off an ACL bears fans think he's better than Beams? Rofl.

Beams is miles ahead of Rich. Rich peaked in his first season and since then has been okay with a few games every season but not consistent enough. Doesn't work hard enough and had taken his spot in the team for granted under Voss. Time for the Leppa to show him what hard work is!
