Discussion on the main board between myself and Jade about who's better, I think it's clearly Joel and Jade thinks it's Joey, I'm happy to be shown otherwise so I thought why not make a poll.

Current/Career don't think it makes a difference.

They generally play very different roles, so we're not really comparing apples with apples, but I'd still comfortably take Selwood first, even though Joey has been incredibly consistent and good for us for years on end now (top 4 in 8 of our last 9 B&F's! with a couple of AA's thrown in) and is still going about as well as ever, which many who don't support us probably don't realise.

Averaged 28 disposals per game this year (10th in the league for disposals per game, at high efficiency ratio average), ranked no.3 in the league for inside 50's per game, 5th for effective disposals, 8th for AFL fantasy score per game, 7th in the league for kicks per game and also averaged a healthy 5 tackles. I imagine he would have also rated highly for metres gained. Is still very comfortably one of the very best few at what he does in the comp, as those numbers show and his addition would instantly make any team better.

Was going even better the year before, until he got a couple of injuries (including a leg fracture that he played the year out with), prior to which he was probably in career-best form (getting 19 Brownlow votes and 17 goals in a 16 game stretch- which included 8 games of between 32 and 47 possessions- in a team that won only 5 of those 16 games).

Is probably one of the most underrated in the league these days and if he was still playing in a really good team he'd possibly have another AA or two to show for it.
