Imagine him in the Demons forward line the last two years

Looked amazing, and would have kicked goals, but an absolute liability due to no defensive effort at all. Could have been anything, but never had the work rate. One way players like Ben Brown are one of the big issues at Melbourne, they are no longer AFL standard.

did they? Fairly sure the girl was a willing participant in the festivities.
Wrong. Ablett told her it was coke when he knew it was actually heroin. Plenty of articles on it if you google it.

Could have been anything if only he had Fagan and Clarko as his coaches! They seem to have a variety of techniques to assist young indigenous men to stay out of trouble.
The interesting part in all this is Melbourne did there best to cut him off from family(plead with him to stay in Melbourne and not go home initially when the family war broke out).

It could be seen as similar to what has gone on at Hawthorn really.

Playing at Feds in Alice, He’s just like any of the other young fellas really. He would only 13 or 14 I think. Footy brings the best out in them. They forget about their troubles for a bit. They’re good at it so they feel confident and good about themselves. Im told he’s a nice kid around the club.

Problem is that they are conditioned to believe the white world is against them by older relatives etc so when they suffer their first set back in life, many fall into the blame game and are lost the system. If you ever get a chance have a chat to AFL development officers in these regions, its very sad. Forget the loss of talent to AFL, its the loss of hope.

I laughed out loud, guiltily

If Liam Jurrah can’t play safely with his machetes , he shouldn’t be allowed to have them . Campaigner needs a machete license .

It's not so much their older relatives, it's the industry that thrives on the misery that is the biggest problem. It pollutes everything.

You'd hope his dad hasn't been in tho picture too much. Not much of a role model.
Leo Jurrah his Father died probably a year ago now. Had a heart attack on the Greyhound Bus South of Tennant Creek going to Katherine or Darwin to see his Mrs.

The post you quoted wasn't about Liam's dad, but about Liam himself - and his suitability as a role model to his teenage son.

Crazy how much ignorance and hatred there is in this thread.

I'm not going to defend Jurrah, but try and at least understand his upbringing before we start making character judgments.
brb, searching for mitigating circumstances for all the dog campaigners that ever walked this earth.

Exactly.

Mate did you really have to bump this after over a month without any information? Why s**t on someone when they’re already down and a week out from Christmas.

???

Liam's not going to read this you know.
