NSW trying to get it to the point that they're in front of the game on DLS and then walk off, because they're not allowed to bowl their quicks due to bad light.

So VIC basically have to play a series of super overs to stay in the game.

Great win to start off and shocked they got as much play in as they did.

Only disappointing thing is we only get NSW and SA once, will be an uphill battle to make the final.

Not good game awareness from Patterson. Not that I would encourage a captain to get his team off the field but he should have been aware that Handscomb was going to keep pleading with the umpires to carry on until they got in front of the D/L par score at which point they would get themselves off the field. He just gave Victoria a free shot with nothing to lose. The umpires need to take better control there as well.

WA have selected a squad with no specialist spinner which is interesting given how good Murphy was against NSW. In fact I'm in favour of dropping one of the top 7 and bringing in an extra spinner for this game.
