I thought it was rather cute with him being up forward and playing well against Brisbane kicking three goals. Could he be our new power forward that we need? He even sold some candy last night.

He's been hitting contests hard whenever he's been up there. Not sure if he hit one against the Lions, but he certainly had against the Hawks and Roos.

LRT wasn't in many packs though. He was mostly one on one with Merrett in the goal square purposefully. Told by Horse to keep Merrett out of the play and in the square and furthermore he bodied Merrett outstandingly well. Kicking 3 goals on one of the best big defenders in the league, all from one on one contests, is a fantastic return for someone who very rarely has played forward.

I still want Jesse in the side, but can't take anything away from how well LRT played on Saturday.

it certainly helps when you get inside 50's like that one, fast and to the advantage of the forward one on one.. the thing with LRT he is cool under pressure comes from being under the pump down back all the time, he did that easy..

A lot of heinous comments were made about LRT by Sydney fans on this board, for a long time. Where are they now?

He's always been as brave as any player to have worn the red and white. All this loving praise is the least he deserves.
