I think that's a good point, the stats don't really relflect how costly a turnover can be including team momentum.

Pivotal turnovers I think we (BigFooty) are harsher on that most stat systems

He was good in the GC game as well in tricky conditions. While he's had a couple of notable turnovers by foot, they have come from largely trying to take the game on through the middle. When these kicks start coming off more frequently like the Carlton game, it really helps us to move the ball quickly and get those easier marks I50. Overall, a decent start to the season and very important to our ball movement.

Hoyne basically said Hinge is rated incredibly high because he’s winning his own ball (50% contested possession rate) and equal to Tom Stewart at ground level intercepts while his kicking is ranked 20th in the comp. Combination no other defender has apparently.

Thought he was good only last week, but possibly he just looked bad cos everyone was awful.
