Thought the same thing watching the State of Origin last night.

Just has every physical attribute needed for the game!
I've thought this for years.
Crameri as well, he'd be an amazing full back.

Sad to see this bloke go, too.

He was not the most talented player, but he sure as hell busted his gut every time he went out there. He was a very handy 'sub' for a while last year, too.

All the best, Nat Rat.

Shame to see Nat Rat retire. Loved the way he played.
He said in the interview he wants to come back to the club and have a mentor role for the younger players.
So glad he will hang around as he will have a massive effect.

See if we can convince him to play VFL for a couple of more years to help the younger guys develop too

I love this bloke and will be sad to see him play his last game.

He'll forever hold a special place in my heart for taking on both the Carr brothers at the same time and dropping Matt Carr like a sack of spuds with a perfectly timed short arm jab to the chin. It was a thing of beauty.

Great clubman. Loved the physicality he brought to the game.

The carr brothers stoush being a particular highlight.

There have been far more talented players wear the red and black, but you have to respect someone who gets 100% out of themselves. He'll do great work as an indigenous leader.

Played some good games in his time, but will mostly be remembered as a willing servant of the club. Played wherever he was needed on the field, including a lot of time as the sub, and did a lot of work off the field too.

Great servant, clubman and hardnut and as others have said the league owe him a debt of gratitude for creating a Carr crash ( they were never quite as cheeky to us after that)

Had a knack for kicking some cracking goals on the run. Seems like he's a top bloke too. Hope he goes out with a win, a massive bump and a couple goals :thumbsu:

better not have to wear the vest at all, a full game please Goodwin. A massive but fair hit or two on that tip rat would be a perfect night for old mate 2-dads

Thanks Nathan for the service to the club wish him all the best for the future, met him a few times and hes a ripper bloke so can only hope he stays around the club in some capacity. even as a mentor/guide to future young guys in our club!

Good luck with the future NLM, hopefully he sticks around with the VFL team for a few more years.
