I'd have to pinpoint the Mayne miss as the crucial turning point of the game. 25m out straight in front and North take it down the other end and kick one from a much harder position. Until then we'd still been dominating general play but that was the moment North really started to gain momentum.

If it wasn't the turning point it was at least a microcosm of everything that went wrong in that game.

Well, the Eagles are second on the ladder, will need at least one more win to lock in a home QF and smashed Adelaide about six weeks ago, when they last met. So, yeah, stranger things have happened.
