He can have 46 as far as I'm concerned.

I disagree with this strategy.
He's been smashed in the media across the country. He's having his contract reduced by all accounts and already knows he's been hanging around with d1ckheads who can't be trusted. He now has to front the players and work his @ss off to win respect.

There is nothing to be gained from shunning him like this. We don't need him hating being at our club. We DO need him on track and performing WITH the group.

Yep, would love to see McCartin in 23 somehow. Stewart Loewe was one of the GOAT Saints, his legacy should be passed down to someone who already looks like displaying similar traits of loyalty and decency as Buckets

And wouldn't mind seeing Carlisle in 10 - there's something a bit left field about him, Everitt and Baker to name a few recent number 10s.

& for us old farts, who can forget Big Carl running around in the famous #10, definitely something left field about him.

Carl was a monster literally, terrified opposition. The head band was pretty funny when he returned from Melbourne but it was the same old physical intimidator of old. He was true old school, a bully on the ground and didn't we love it.

Yes what he needs is to feel like the school * up, always under supervision and totally untrusted. That will for sure force him to be proactive in turning his life around and encourage club loyalty/love.
