A tall forward from Burnie, Andrew Lee was drafted in 2004 after captaining the Tassie Mariners U18s side. Although agile and a good mark, his career with Essendon was doomed from the start, as he was plagued by injury. In 2005 he was the only player on the senior list not to play a game, due to osteitis pubis. In 2006 he made his debut, playing all his five career games that year but doing very little in each game. 2007 saw him variously injured and playing for Bendigo, and his 2008 season was finished early by a shoulder injury. He was delisted at the end of 2008. He returned to the Burnie Dockers in 2012.
