Will test the depth of the Dees for sure. Seen Burke in a moonboot. Played with a broken foot since VCFL rep game.
Sean Christopher & Carr back l believe.

So is this right that Horsham outs now inlcude: Parish, Gilbert, Blake, Wood.

Add Joel Geue & Garrett Liston to that list aswell Liston back to Ballarat and Geue off to a district league club. did hear earlier in the week that blake had signed up with Dimboola last weekend. John wood to be more than likely to be along side of him. what has happen to horsham demons? All down Hill since showing Stu farr the door.

Yeah Blake has gone for a figure of $700 a game to Dimboola i am told from reliable sources which Horsham don`t have the money to match that. All down hill since Farr left is a bit rich when all sides made the Grand final apart from senior side although critics are sure to be about when you don`t make the grand final after 10 straight flags. Confirmed losses of Parish, Gilbert and Blake will hurt with maybe more but ins of Christopher, Carr and Simon Hobbs plus a very talented U17 premiership side from 2013 will have them very competitive still i would think. It is only November too we must remember!

Ha, losers crying poor. Horsham have been the biggest spenders in the league by that much it doesn't matter......and they have had some very loyal players. Things are changing since they saw one of their own get completely shafted. Carr is one of the best we have seen but past his prime I would imagine.

Yet another delusional post from Fancy. Would love to see some proof of Horsham being the biggest spenders and who that money went towards?! And things were inevitably going to change once the premiership run ended (and not because of Stuey getting 'shafted' since he wouldn't have won Horsham a premiership this year either) but not sure that a few players leaving is a massive change.
Agreed that Carr is past his prime however.
Horsham have definitely hit their rebuild stage and may be down the ladder for a few years but wouldn't discount them yet.
Wouldn't take too much out of the Liston and Geue post since Liston no longer has ties in Ballarat. Could be a chance to go to Warrnambool.
Any news on the other 7 clubs or is it all about Dimboola's recruiting and Horsham's losses on here. How are Stawell and Ararat travelling with recruits does anyone know?

Big call to say a Farr-led Demons wouldn't have won another Premiership this year. Who knows what it would have done for player retention, or if Dimmy would have recruited and played so well under someone else. Demons weren't far off beating the Roos to go straight into the GF from the Semi really. Farrs relentless drive and the retention of senior heads like Rentsh could have made all the difference (but then again, would the current coaches have stayed if Farr continued? They might have lost out that way as well).

Yeah, haven't heard a peep about movements down the highway. In that case, no news is bad news!

Going by the news so far, Warrack, Burras, Dimmy are very active recruitment-wise, Nhill also to an extent, Saints sound like they should be strong again next year. Its all quiet on the southern front with the Rats and Stawell, while the Demons might drop a peg after losing a few key players and the Diggers seem to be slipping even further.

Minyip Murtoa has continued its impressive off season by recruiting VFL listed player Kieran Delahunty back to the Burras for the 2014 season. Declan Foott, who was also on the Northern Blues list last year, has recommitted to the Burras. There is talk a couple of other local footballers will be returning too.

Good signings Ploughman. Things looking very positive at the Burra Camp. In other news, I hear Nhill are throwing big bucks around as offers of $1500 a game to a VAFA forward were rejected. A lot of money in the west wimmera $$$

Rumour on the HDFL thread that Chilver and Seers are also heading to Taylors Lake. Is there something going on at Dimboola causing players to move on?

Huge news if Chilver, Rentsch & Sears leave. Would be surprised though, considering the word was Chilver in particular had been getting involved in community events like the Dimboola Show recently. If true, it would probably knock the roos back-to-back premiership aspirations on the head, especially if McFarlane doesn't make it back they will have lost their two Ruckmen/Forwards. It really opens up the door for Saints, Warrack & Burras next season.

I've A
ive also heard this . I think warrak will be in the box seat seat with the early signing of Clayton Hinkly. Having him and Pete wier on your list will be very handy 4 recruiting! Warrak and dim inGF next year unless Horsham go on a recruiting blitz! Will butch have a big 'pull' recruiting wise if his coaching . Lots of mates?
Butch couldn't "pull" the skin of a rice custard he goes about his business the wrong way to be having mates come to play with him cause he doesn't have that many
