Lovely quarter. Took full control of the game and the defence stood up when needed to. If we can sharpen up our disposal going forward then this game is ours for the taking.

Fyfe and Young having a big impact with their physicality.
Knocking Brissie players who are about to win the ball on their arse so a team mate can run off with it. No stats, but definitely helping having some bigger bodies.
Pearce has been really good defensively and even hit some nice aggressive exit kicks.
The other buzzword JL has been using is consistency, we can write off q1 on rust, but let’s see how well the boys perform for the rest of the match.
Defense has done a good job pushing up and cutting the ball off also, on the back of good pressure.
