Interchange from : [41] Blake Drury,[4] Aidan Corr,[15] Daniel Howe,[13] Darcy Tucker,[7] Jack Ziebell,[10] Ben Cunnington,[25] Paul Curtis,[36] Phoenix Spicer

Out: Jack Ziebell, Blake Drury and Daniel Howe...

Sub:Darcy Tucker

Ziebell had a shocker, but I think he has enough credits in the bank for the year so far to earn a reprieve. If he gets dropped, it should be for Corr.

Having said that, when McKay + Log + Corr have all played together, our average losing margin has been 11 goals.
Corr should come in and play as a medium defender if Jack is dropped. If VFL is good enough for Cunners its good enough for Jack.
His form has tapered off after a great year but we have defenders available who can come in and do a job.

What was madness was playing McKay, Logue, Corr, Ziebell and McDonald in the same backline. Was cooked.
Thankfully Corrs suspension against Port meant match committee could see how f***** it was and fixed the balance.

I wonder if the coaches have seen that since dropping a big body and putting a runner in the back half, that there has been considerable improvement in our form overall.

Not sure why Drury is in the squad, he really didn’t deserve a call up based on his VFL game on the weekend. Only had the ten touches. Would’ve thought Lazz or Perez would have been more deserving.
Feel like it doesn't really mean a lot considering it ends up as 4 emergencies of which only 1 sub and game day emergency will give a true reflection.

So objectively better than you in every facet of the game.

Its actually uncanny that dropping a big body and putting a runner back there has seen our form improve overall.

I’m no Corr fan, but he is a genuine 3rd tall size and speed wise. Ziebell isn’t.

For those potting Jack, Langford kicked most of his goals on Logue.
People not potting Jack because of who did or didn't kick goals on him or whoever else..

People are "potting" him because he obviously watched too much of the Auskick kids at half-time and then tried to emulate their kicking efficiency.

Kicking 3 or 4 OOF when the game is in the balance doesn't win you a lot of free tickets when it comes to selection.
