The game has rules. Few frees paid isn't necessarily a good thing if rules are being broken but not being adjudicated. If umpires don't want to call things like incorrect disposal, then that's all well and good, but I don't want to watch games tomorrow and see the standard changed. The problem is consistency. It's amateurish for the rules of a professional game to essentially change on a game-by-game basis per the discretion of the umpires.

The problem people have is that he's allowed to just throw it to his teammate in that situation. Collingwood player lays a perfect tackle and Hawthorn is allowed to just shovel the ball to another guy who goals.
