Foley will get picked next week but it's just the same problem in a different package. Playing possession game with guys who can't kick.

Also foley is suited to wet weather football now
Just won an anzac medal i hear, and probably the oldest and most underdone on the ground.

Foley just needs a good run at it, at 3/4 fitness he is still a class above VFL and if he stays fit he is still a class above most of our good battlers and his kicking is OK and his hands are dynamite.

Wet track specialist but brilliant on a fast track also. He plays his guts out too, still in our first dozen picked for mine. those who thinks he's cooked give him another crack, him and Newman deserve at least this much.

Didnt say he was garbage i just said Lennon and CEllis are better.Big difference
Don't worry CEllis will debut in the back pocket and look shite;)
No way are they better than him atm. Lennon can't win a clearance to save himself and has zero tank. He has a great kick but that's all atm. CELLis has a brilliant kick but is too soft at the contest (I'm assuming due to being a kid, he s**t himself 2 or 3 times last week). He will be a very good player but not yet.

How was Dea today ?

Any stats from this game?
From Richmond VFL Twitter:
Goal scorers: Vickery (4), McBean (3), Lennon (2), McGough (2), Hampson (1), Aarts (1), Wynne (1), Ellis (1)
Foley 30 disposals and 16 clearances, Ellis 24 disposals and 11 clearances, Castagna (20), Hampson 69 hit outs

I think Mcbean had 3 behinds, Vickery 2 behinds, Lennon 2 behinds.
Wouldn't take much from this game, Frankston will be wooden spooners.

I hope they're not flat track bullies like our seniors
Is the game a hard contested one?
Since when have our seniors become flat track bullies? In fact, that is exactly what we are not, which is why we lose to bad teams

It does appear that the juniors are heading that way right now though. Hope they don't become like that.

But I was happy seeing the score today :)

Interesting fact off the VFL forum:
Conor Menadue is the son of former Sunshine player Bernie Menadue.
Bernie Menadue is one of the few footballers who can claim to have kicked his team's entire score. In 1984 Box Hill 39.33(267) defeated Sunshine 2.1(13) and Bernie was the only Crow to get on the scoresheet.

Get back to me when we beat Port Sydney Hawks and Freo
The only teams we've beaten thus far is CFC and Brisbane. Your theory is a myth otherwise we would have won the last two flags. Do your homework

But we have beaten all of those teams you mentioned in the last 2-3 years, and lost to bottom teams like Bulldogs, Gold Coast and Melbourne throughout that period.

I do think that we are starting to become flat track bullies though. We are not yet, but we may become that this year

Yes we have but there was a thread showing the contrary to this
We've never beaten these sides when it counts
For example Port in the final otherwise we would've won the flag based on your theory

One thing I have noticed though, we only beat the good teams when they had injuries. The only good teams we defeated without injuries are Hawthorn in 2012 and 2013 and Sydney in 2012 from my memory. Fremantle were injured, Port Adelaide last year were injured, Sydney rested most of their teams last year. I am starting to feel as though we are losing our ability to defeat the good teams as the years go by, which is why I remain adamant that 2012 was our best year (even though we didn't make finals). At least we were actually able to match it with the best teams in the competition then, with our two biggest margins being 44 points against Carlton in Round 1, and Collingwood which was actually only 21 or 22 points. We can no longer do that unless the opposition has injuries nowadays

Yep you nailed it there

Chocco on a short time basis if he's up to it
After that our back up is limited
This is s art bc sixth year I to tv's rebuild we have a piss week coaching panel in ferns of experience
This is why he will be most likely safe for the next few weeks
Or you can do what Adelaide and Port did and get a Phil Walsh/Ken Hinkley. But they have to be someone tough that doesn't take crap
