Have to say with Hobbs not being selected, we have missed out on the grunt he provides in the centre. He was the automatic selection for Merrett based on his VFL form and centre play credentials. In Davey, we have rawness with flair. As our opponent is Collingwood, it’s Hobbs every time for me.

Still hoping for a late change. Hobbs in, Hind Super-Sub.

Davey won't be playing midfield. Caldwell will. Most CBA's you'll see Draper or Phillips with 3 of Caldwell, Setterfield, Parish and Shiel

Fully expect Hobbs as sub and to play half the game. who comes out for him will be the variable. I think the coaches are enjoying the prospect of an injection of fresh legs into the midfield that he will bring. Coaches at Essendon always enjoy injections after all.
