Round 4: Vs Bears (Home): Roys Won by 37 points

Mobbs cracked the shits early here, far earlier than normal…

1 : 1.03 - <<< Roylion is coming on to replace Mobbs >>>

3KZ is Football then sold the dummy, raising vital funds for the end of season trip – and then had a few bounces before slotting a major – both raising revenue and raising the roof at the BJO – which is very impressive in an open air stadium.

Mooch then slotted a couple, the Roys behind by a couple of goals at QT.

The second and third terms were largely Roys - _Mike_ and Pure Grunt really put the score on the board, with support from Barrels and elmer judd. MrsEddieBetts slotted a couple, really settling into the small forward role well at this early stage.

The highlight of the last term was Dingster dancing around elmer judd – much like this….



Best: A really even team performance here – with 5 players within a few DT points of each other…. A tough one for the judges to vote for…..

Special Mention here to fitzroybowiedog and royboy2 – both got donuts in the same game, tremendous teamwork that even zackah would be proud of….

And my Roys sign Dingster strategy worked perfectly !!!

Mooch… what an absolute jet. The guy is like Alastair Lynch on steroids.

In a purely on-field sense.

He is multiple brain cells smarter and marginally less annoying than the off-field Alastair Lynch

Round 5: Vs Wonders (Away): Roys Won by 17 points

This could have been done and dusted a lot earlier if we’d bothered with goal kicking practice in the off season. Someone should really look into that !!

But 4 points were on the scoresheet before we decided to aim for the middle sticks, and then we forgot again moments after. 1.7 was the score before Mooch gave us back the lead – a lead we never should have lost in the first place…

MrsEddieBetts and elmer judd then slotted goals, as the game continued to be tight. The sim continued it’s usual consistency:

2 : 16.55 {CHF} - Mike sees an open goal.

2 : 16.59 {CHF} - It's an ugly kick but its a goal.

2 : 18.01 {CHF} - Mike is usually a beautiful kick for goal but he's shanked that.

And we trailed at half time, despite two more scoring shots….

Barrels and Mooch kept the Roys in it in the third quarter, and scores were level (despite us having 5 more scoring shots – have I mentioned the shit goal kicking yet ??).

In the end, it was left to Zevon , Barrels , tigs2010 and Allikat (still missing) to put this one to bed early in the last, but it was much harder work than it needed to be….

Best: Pure Grunt had a massive 21 handballs (kick the ****ing thing man !!!), but it appeared to be that sort of game. Allikat had 12, elmer judd, Roylion , tigs2010 and Zevon were all in double figures for that stat. 9 marks to Pure Grunt was also impressive, as was Mooch ‘s 6 goals.
