Correct, this is their 3rd strip, the white alternate remains as the primary clash design.

Not really they've had the red jersey before and is considered as a 'faux' kit.

For an 108 year old club, it's interesting to find a new design that feels like tradition. That said, like the club, it's terrible all round

Waratahs 2016 jersey. The shirt features a fading, armour-like diamond pattern from chest to hem, symbolising stealth and a strong base. There will be a special retail version of the jersey available for supporters to buy, having ‘Playing for NSW since 1874’ on the front.

Smart choice seeing as Leeds will probably be wearing their blue home kit or some variant thereof. Shame this couldn't have been their home jersey going forward.
