Sheffield Shield Round 2: Tasmania Tigers v Queensland Bulls @ Bellerieve Oval

Word is that he is being handled with kid gloves for the time being ala Pat Cummins - premier grade cricket & Futures League with a view to playing Shield later in the season. He hasn't really played any longer form than grade so CA supposedly a bit concerned he might break. He had foot stress fracture last year and back injury before that.

Funny, just looking in the grade results the other day and Hauritz and McDermott and Scott Walter are all getting plenty of wickets, so they don't lack for choices!

But they'll let him sign a BBL contract?? Oh wow they are geniuses.

Floros interests me. He's a batting AR yes and probably won't ever cement himself as a FC cricketer but if he learns to reign in his aggressiveness he might actually be a handy player.

Needs another 35 to get his FC average above 30 and another 65 for it to stay there.

Doran gets a 50.

One particular poster here will be needing a change of pants.

If only he had a few more batsmen actually stay around...

Good innings, just a small glimpse of what he can do.

Great win by Queensland - that will certainly give them some confidence ahead of the clash with the Redbacks up here on the weekend. Young Heazlett was a star wasn't he!
