WA (2nd) 33.94 points 1.324 quotient

NSW XII
  • Moises HENRIQUES (c)
  • Sean ABBOTT
  • Doug BOLLINGER
  • Ryan CARTERS
  • Scott HENRY
  • Nick LARKIN
  • Nathan LYON
  • Nic MADDINSON
  • Peter NEVILL (+)
  • Stephen O’KEEFE
  • Kurtis PATTERSON
  • Gurinder SANDHU
In: Larkin (12th man)
Out:

NSW have been excellent since the return from the BBL break, defeating Tassie and the Vics to shoot to the top of the ladder. Unsurprisingly they've decided to keep the same squad of 12 from those two victories with a Larkin for Henry swap the only possible change.

WA XIII
  • Adam VOGES (c)
  • Ashton AGAR
  • Cameron BANCROFT
  • Tom BEATON
  • Michael BEER
  • Nathan COULTER-NILE
  • Marcus HARRIS
  • Michael KLINGER
  • Shaun MARSH
  • David MOODY
  • Nathan RIMMINGTON
  • Andrew TYE
  • Sam WHITEMAN (+)
In: Beer, Moody (debut), Rimmington (12th man), Tye
Out: Michael HOGAN (hamstring), Simon MACKIN (soreness)

Rimmington was rested from the last match and will slot in one of the fast bowling spots. Tye is likely to be the other inclusion on the back of his superb BBL04 season.

It pissed down in Sydney overnight which is about 3 hours drive from Newcastle. Don't know if it would have any effect in Newcastle.
Im at the game. Its been pissing down the last couple of days in newcastle and the covers have been on the pitch almost constantly since the weekend. Which is probably a good thing since no 1 sportsground is usually the flattest in newcastle. There have been a couple stay low particularly henriques' wicket and ita a little slow but a few bouncers have rushed the batsmen.

Moody has bowled superbly. Hes quicker than id thought hed be. For each wicket hes got he must of beat the bat another 4 times
