Yes, they made money. Because in the end they produced vaccines that saved millions of lives. Money well spent.

I understand your pain and the desire to have an easy explanation for your loss.
But what other people say, and the coincidence in timing don’t constitute proof. I wish the coroner had made a ruling that the vaccine was to blame because that would be absolute proof.
Coincidence I'm certain Dave. You'd have known if it was the vaccine. A cause of death must surely have been entered on the death certificate.
I didn't have anything much in the way of a cough till the 11th day. The virus was singularly unpleasant except for the comfort from being in bed. If nothing else, I slept soundly but then woke up in the morning feeling tired. Lack of appetite was another notable symptom. The potency of the virus seems to vary considerably from person to person.

Very true, and may also be indicative of which virus variants are in the mix. Quite the variant soup circulating nowadays.
For me, when I had it a month ago, it was like a head cold - itchy, watery eyes, sore throat and occasional dry cough, congested nose/sinuses but not runny, and general tiredness you’d normally get with a cold. Worst of it lasted about 2 days and then I was on the improve. I hadn’t quite got there in organising my 4th vax shot so only had the 3 so far.
Cause of death was a heart attack if I remember correctly.
But people have linked it to the vaccine because of the proximity of the injection.
I doubt they even looked for a link between the two unless an autopsy was called for to investigate.
I’m open to being convinced that there was a link, as I dismiss nothing these days, but it has to be scientifically proven, not just by those who want to use it to further their cause.
It's possible but his dad had survived three previous vaccines. I would just accept that it was a coincidence without any evidence. His sister being an anti vaxxer would have fuelled the fires of suspicion.

I had it first month i was in London. Was only 26 at the time which i'm told is very young
I had a very mild case, but that was bad enough. Bloke at work had recurring shingles-affected his life badly

No no-one and my eldest brother and his wife both had underlying problems and they are in their 80's.
In fact I don't know of anybody here that has died of it.
I did lose relatives when it first hit USA but they didn't have any vaccines then nor did Trump advise masks, social distancing or lockdowns.

* Covid. I feel like s**t, everything tastes bland , I cough like I have a six pack a day habit and I keep feeling like I'm freezing.

Mostly just angry to be missing Anzac Day.
On the plus side the pony has escaped into the back yard and stands at my window staring at me until I throw apple pieces out the window, so I have a friend.

Of all the symptoms I had, a cough was the least prominent. Now that it's all over (though not really as there are still flashback symptoms), I have a nagging dry cough. I am going to call this 'My year of the cough' as I had a cough that hung around for 2 months after a cold earlier this year. A steroid puffer put an end to it last time, but doesn't work this time.
You need some animal you can cuddle under the bed covers. Where's the cat?

The cat got really pissed off at me coughing and stalked off to sleep on Darren's brother's bed instead. It just looks at me with disdain now if we meet in the hallway.
I get the feeling the pony would probably accept a spot on the bed but I don't think that is a good idea.
I thought about the pony but put it in the too hard basket. As for the cat, I'd want it in the bed rather than on it. It's time it earned its keep.
