GWS home game in CBR one week
GWS vs SYD @ ANZ the next, pull in some of the show crowd

If the show goes for another week we'll have an away game

Rd 1: GWS vs Essendon (ANZ)
Good away support plus Sheedy coaching against his old team.
Rd 2: Port Adelaide vs GWS (AAMI)
Rd 3: Sydney vs GWS (ANZ)
Sydney home game will draw a bigger ground and it will give Sydney a big pay off which GWS don't need. GWS and Swans members to have entry rights to both derbies.
Rd 4: GWS vs Fremantle (MO)
Rd 5: St Kilda vs GWS (Eithad)
Rd 6: GWS vs Melbourne (Showgrounds)

I can't find any dimensions of the field ,does anyone have them? Will the ground be scg size or mcg or anz or completely different

They were saying the same length as the MCG on Wednesday night, but I suspect it may be narrower.

looks like it'll be similair to metricom, in that almost "party like" atmosphere the colors and lights create, however the scoreboard and plants probably make it look a bit nicer. No doubt these smaller state-of-the-art stadiums will create a real buzz and home advantage for the new teams once they start playing well. Just wish collingwood had its own metricom / showgrounds wishful thinking thou

Haha okay maybe that sounded a bit stupid, but its a tad different when u have to share it with a bunch of other teams. Not saying its gonna happen... maybe in a few decades. Something like an EPL set up where each team can have its own stadium to give a real home feel, but of course the bigger games are at the mcg... just something to ponder for the future.

My comment was more pointing to the fact that with the number of members Collingwood has at the moment, you'll need the MCG to be your "boutique" stadium to let everyone attend.

Well i think Gold Coast's is the second biggest, behind ANZ, so it might be correct...

I wouldn't have thought it would too much, mainly because two of the grounds are right next door to each other.
