Analysis So this is how it feels to miss finals?

I'd almost forgotten the feeling, after 8 straight seasons of every home and away game counting for something, it's come to the point now where for the first time since 2005 we are playing games with almost no meaning at all (to us anyway).

I'm finding it hard to even care about the GWS game on Saturday, especially with a game like Hawks vs Cats straight after it.

Weird feeling.

I'm firmly focused on 2015.

Actually really looking forward to the GWS game. It's basically a free hit with probably 2 or 3 debutants and a few other youngstars getting their chance.

Plus, if we win we'll still be a chance for finals. I don't really want to make finals because our side is depleted...but it's not as if there is nothing to play for just yet.

I'm just really looking forward to a few debutants this week.

Of the current top 4, Freo for mine, too. Haven't won a flag yet, often in the shadow of the Eagles, play really hard, accountable footy and the added bonus of seeing Rossy Lyon's eyes darting back and forth amongst the reporters at light speed in the press conference after the GF if they pull it off.
