Still think Stringer is better. The man can hurt teams on either end and even in the middle on occasion. But you act like Bontempelli is some super stud like Chris Judd, Luke Hodge or Nick Riewoldt already. That Brownlows are guaranteed, as well as future captaincy and likely a flag or several. Heck Shane Woewodin lit up the game once, everyone thought he was gonna be a legend, Adam Cooney too.

Personally, if the Hawks, Tigers or Dogs cannot win it this year I hope the Weagles do, so could care less if we cop another three figure flogging, good form to go into a finals series with, and think we already know who is staying and who is being delisted so means little to us.

Is it a bad choice though? The dogs were cooked when we played you blokes, coming off a huge win in torrential rain up in Sydney. 6 months is a long time in footy, since then Bont has put himself in All Australian calculations, and is preparing for a finals assault while getting tagged every week.

Every team wishes they had their time over in the draft again, heck you picked Stringer and Macrae the year before Bontempelli but the next man picked was Wines, so perhaps in time Ollie might have been a better choice, or not.
The 2013 draft was nothing like the Hodge, Ball, Judd draft, I think most got a good pick, Josh Kelly was picked at 2 and has not done much either, is he a write off also along with Tom Boyd? Or does someones youth only count for them when they play for the Bulldogs?
