Pretty hard to turn down Valencia. He won't die wondering that's for sure.

The language barrier would have made it very difficult to communicate his message. The guys who do well in multiple countries are generally multilingual.

GNev has said that he doesn't want to be a manager long term but who in their right mind would have turned down Valencia.

Supposedly both he and Giggs turned down the Swansea job after Monk was fired.
