So, there are some sensible Crows supporters after all. They should listen to this guy:

Doubt any of that lot will reply to his post. They don't want to know the truth of it, they just like to think Rucci runs the whole Advertiser and does nothing but bag them. If they got the press we got in this little backwater state they would all be hanging from the rafters.

and that we're Rucci's biggest fans and we hang on to his every word

Calling Michelangelo Rucci "Chief Football writer" is just a big troll by The Advertiser to make it look like they are not Crow biased (a bit like The Australian having Phillip Adams as a columnist) - Rooch is probably on the same pay grade as Richard Earle and Jasper Fjelstad.

Got the daily email from the advertiser today and in the email subject "Kochie quits board" and the first thing you see underneath is a pic of Chad Wingard

This was the teaser...........

Kochie quits: 'Get a backbone'

DAVID Koch took aim at an investigation by his own network on air this morning - and announced a fiery resignation as well.

Clearly the Advertiser spent a lot of time and effort finding a way to scare the crap out of Port supporters and stir sh**.

They are scum with no other agenda.

They are the biggest scum that I know. Pathetic bunch of tossers.

I actually thought Jasper was still the work experience kid and no one has told him his placement had finished 3 years ago

After the Advertisers reporting of a spectator being ejected from the game on Saturday ("the second time this year during a Port Adelaide game" or words to that effect) the club has released the following statement:

http://www.portadelaidefc.com.au/news/2015-05-27/statement-spectator-incident-2nd

The spectator who was ejected from the Port Adelaide v Richmond game at Adelaide Oval on Sunday night for unruly behaviour has been issued a three month barring order by South Australian Police.

The Port Adelaide Football Club has investigated the incident and the offending spectator is not a Club Member.

However, the Club does not tolerate any form of abusive behaviour from spectators at Adelaide Oval and fully supports the barring order issued by South Australian Police.

Port Adelaide released a spectator code of conduct last June reinforcing its commitment to creating a safe, comfortable and exciting game-day experience for all Members and supporters.

Under this code of conduct the club reserves the right to revoke memberships or casual game day tickets should any offence be committed and should a situation warranting a ban arise.

Port Adelaide also continues to encourage all supporters to use the 1300TELLUS phone service during games at Adelaide Oval to report any offensive behaviour.

Surely the number of ejections per game for both clubs should be available via FOI. Haven't numerous people here heard from knowing some in the police that the Crows get more ejections then Port? The club should ask for this, and the next time publish it that Port get less. Tired of these knucklebreathers highlighting every incident of ours, no matter how serious and burying every one of the other mobs.

yes, FOI should be available for those who want it, but we all know this will be a waste of time as the Media in SA won't publish this as they wouldn't want to paint the all mighty self acclaimed "pride of south australia" in a bad way.

The SA media wouldn't, but the next time the clowns in it try to raise it after we have someone ejected Koch could raise the numbers on Sunrise. The SA media would never dare run those stories again.

Well some moronic Port supporter contacted the media to tell them about the incident. Perhaps Cow supporters aren't so stupid.

as a former AO employee, can confirm dozens of ejections during the Crows vs Collingwood Thursday night game last season, loads of Crows supporters being dragged down the steps at the back of the hill, exclaiming "I didn't do nuffin'!"

The main numbers I know is the difference in ejections between the two showdowns last year. About half a dozen at Port's home game versus about 120 at the Crows one. Whether that stands up over the course of a few seasons or is just a once off I dont know.

Do we really need to care which Club has the most idiots kicked out?
All we need to worry about that we provide a suitable environment for our supporters and anybody breaking the rules is dealt with appropriately.
This constant Us vs The Crows is becoming pretty boring.

Despite the fact that I was merely replying to someone that had shown an interest in knowing some figures, yes I do think its important to highlight realities against perceptions. Especially as we are targeting a younger crowd, people who often wish to take young children to the football, it is vital that we get the message out there that there are less drunken and violent idiots at our games versus the closest viable alternative.

Riccuito outright laughing at the prospect of port losing nicks to carlton. "It would be funny." then trys to soften it by saying "it would be a feather in your cap"

That idiot needs to be pulled into line. A franchise board member who continually has digs at his cross town rival is quite pathetic. He is clearly overstepping the mark.
