A mostly straightforward round was had in Round 11 with quite a few tipsters getting all four games correct with the remainder picking three or two winners. I managed to score the bonus point this week, selecting 20 points which was only three points off the actual margin with East Perth winning by 17 points over Swan Districts.

After 11 rounds we have a change at the top with freofan_mundy and Military_man moving into the lead on 30 points while swannies drops back to equal third on 29 points alongside thorne89. samFFC rounds out the top five another point further back. Still plenty of rounds to go though so if you're a bit behind don't despair as we've got a long way to go yet!


Round 12 Fixtures

Subiaco vs South Fremantle at Medibank Stadium (Saturday, 2:15pm)
Peel Thunder vs East Perth at Bendigo Bank Stadium (Sunday, 2:15pm)
East Fremantle vs Swan Districts at ATOM Stadium (Sunday, 2:15pm)
Perth vs Claremont at Lathlain Park (Sunday 2:40pm, margin)
Bye: West Perth


Onto Round 12 which represents the halfway mark of the season, once we're done with Round 12 we'll be more than halfway through the home and away rounds. This weekend sees a couple of good clashes with the two aligned teams in Peel Thunder and East Perth playing each other down in Mandurah while East Fremantle host Swan Districts which will be the Sharks' first game since coach Steve Malaxos resigned on Monday. That game along with the Thunder vs Royals match are on Sunday. Also on Sunday is the TV game which will take a look at Perth vs Claremont down at Lathlain Park to be held at the later timeslot at 2:40pm. The other match in the round is on Saturday with Subiaco playing against South Fremantle at Medibank Stadium.

A fairly entertaining weekend was had in Round 12 with a few close games and some thrilling finishes. hansie was the star tipster of Round 12 getting all four games correct with a few others getting three in total. Milang_Panthers and Freofalcon tied for the bonus point this week with both selecting 40 points as the margin with Claremont ending up defeating Perth by 44 points.

Overall, and this is quite an achievement but we have a four way tie for top spot with swannies and thorne89 joining freofan_mundy and Military_man in first place with 32 points. Back in fifth place is hansie who is one point behind on 31.

Onto Round 13 and back to all Saturday games this week. There's quite a few good games this weekend with Claremont hosting traditional rivals Subiaco, West Perth play South Fremantle, Perth take on Swan Districts with the two "Easts" doing battle in East Perth and East Fremantle. The TV game is Claremont vs Subiaco this week which starts at 1:40pm and that match flows into Channel 7's AFL coverage.

It's going to be wet on the weekend, hopefully we'll see some good games and top class WAFL footy. Happy tipping!!
