WE WILL ROCK YOU...the musical

I attended the matinee session on Saturday and was very impressed with the musical ' WE WILL ROCK YOU'

The music is played LIVE in the recording style studio booth in the upper rear section of the stage. The story line is very well executed with alot of historical musical references and comical dialogue that keeps the audience entertained.

The wardrobe / stage props are definately a stand out as is the acting and the showmanship. Just don't expect Galileo Figaro to sound anything like the great LATE Freddie.

Multimedia effects were displayed exceptionally well.

Scattermoosh gets my votes for B.O.G. but I'd prefer the sixth chick / babe from the left of the dancing group.....schhwing !!!
dig those hips, sensual moves...mmmm, she shakes me !!

Favourite track performed : ONE VISION (first track after intermission)

Running time : 3 hours

Cost: About $80 (worth the $$$)

Highly reccommended !! (on a scale of 10....9 !!)

Will be seeing it again !!

Agreed. Thoroughly enjoyable. Thought especially it picked up pace as the second 'half' progressed, with lots of humour and clever little musical references in there. The music of the great Queen really well recreated, some standout vocal perfrmances e.g 'Oz'. Think I'll buy the cast CD!! Would go again if I could afford it!
