IIRC he quit footy in 2009, a year before draft eligibility.

Id assume that's now. While such a sprint time would be remarkable for an 18 year old going through the combines it's not as impressive for a 21 year old (still very very fast).

I'm very excited about this.

He's a massive West Coast fan and if he plays with the same heart and hunger that JD plays with then he's going to be at the very least serviceable. He'll have a good set of mentors and will be set up to succeed. Costing the club absolutely nothing in terms of other opportunities.

Be interesting to see how endurance and skills develop over the pre-season.
