Swanston St’s mostly car free nowadays so to recreate it they’d have to do so on the roof of a tram. With that being so close to the electrical wires above they’d be truly living the ACDC existence.

Love that vid as it reminds me of those simpler times rocking into town to hit Timezone, Darrel Lea and Hoyts, Capital, Russell or Village Cinemas armed with $20-$40.

Yep, loved the music stores and loved the whole big wide world of city experiences back then when the shot tower stood alone and the city square was to become a risk to swimmers beneath the Burke and Wills statue.
