it does not seem reason to say that Ratten had no buy in with the players especially in the first 2 years. he must've lost buy in in 2022 as it looked to me like the players could not be bothered

Did it using his workplace as a root den and with a younger woman who was working under him. He would have been fired from most modern enterprises. Hardwick might have been distasteful but not bordering on ripping off the workplace. When you are paid as a decision maker it was a bad look for Lethers.
