Halfway through the season and look nothing like the team of 2014.

Officially have more losses than wins this season, and a percentage under 100.

Was 2014 an anomaly? Whats gone wrong?

BOOM. Locked.

Gone backwards, a long way.

A few points from a GF and now sitting 10th, probably lower after the split rounds. Look longshots for the top 4.

Don't look anywhere near as fit, constantly outnumbered at contests.

Hinkley looked like a genius before. He looks a little clueless in the box now.

Brereton spoke this week of how Ryder has upset their structure... but he's not even playing tonight and they don't look any better, so I don't think they can blame that.

What happened BigFooty? They weren't just meant to be good, they were all the rage for the flag.

They really shouldn't be concerned.

Their depth has been exposed - SGray, Clurey, Young, Stewart are no good at the moment.

They are still young enough to either bring in new players or the above players improve.

It's a few things:

Their bottom six is pretty average. Clurey, Stewart, Young, Sam Gray, Colquhorn, Pittard aren't great and carrying that many players in a team hurts.

Their defense isn't great, it isn't bad, but it's hardly a strength.

Their fitness has dropped off, spread and run has dropped off, meaning they get outnumbered in contests and their kicking worsens as the game goes on.

Their forwardline can be a bit one dimensional, Gray and Wingard.

Lobbe isn't a great ruck, and I find the idea that Ryder ruined their structure to be crap, he should be playing and Lobbe should be dropped. Doesn't offer that much around the ground and is an average tap ruckman.

They're finals material but their draw is hard.
