Round 1: Votes v Essendon

5. Dylan Moore
4. Massimo D'Ambrosio
3. James Worpel
2. Jack Ginnivan
1. Josh Weddle

A frustrating game first up for us, clearly had our chances and probably should've won the game. There were 3 clear standouts for us over the day with Moore just pipping D'Ambrosio for the top honour by 1 vote. Incredible when you think about it, the player underdone the most you'd have to say, comes out and is our best. Well done Dylan. Massimo plays his best game in his career so far in his debut with the Hawks against his old side. Great pick up!
Worps was our only midfielder really that could hold his head high. He tried his guts out, just didn't have many friends in the midfield to help him.

Ginnivan was the clear 4th best, another new player that had a great debut for us. Weddle rounded out the top 5.

Pretty hard to separate players this week.
1. Sicily
2. Weddle
3. Amon
4. Worpel
5. Ginnivan
McKenzie - stiff, much better this week.

Scrim
Weddle
Worple
Sic
McKenzie

Sic had a lot of the ball but gave up five goals to his direct opponent so I can't rate him any higher, personally.

Couldn’t have Sic or Weddle but when the latter’s disposals are more consistent he will be a huge player for us.

In one of our worst performances in the last few years we had no real standouts. 4 players were clear of the rest with a pretty clear 5th in line too. Weddle got the nod for our best with Worpel close behind him. Only 1 vote separated Scrimshaw and Sicily. Mackenzie may have played his best game for us this past week and he snagged the last vote.

Good to see the Worpedo starting where he left off last year, been a lone ranger in that midfield really. Both him and Weddle are the only 2 to poll in both games to start the season. Weddle is certainly a huge shining light atm for us.
