Only 4 horses under $15 dollars Weekend Hussler $1.85, Scenic Blast $6.50, Maldivian $7, Alamosa $10

I don't think WH will lose second up.

Leica Falcon (my boy) in the 8th race don't think it will win but hopefully gets around okay, against Sonic quest, Tears I Cry, Glory Hunter, Saratime etc.

Miss Andretti back also

A few of my other favorites in Zarpurple, Vivacious Spirit, Burgeis, Bel Mer.


Golden Rose seems to be a race between 3 or 4 races - Desuetude, All American, Dupworth and then probably Maybe I and Stripper.

3YO Races should be great!

McNeil (Melb) - I'll be on Whobegotyou ($6), and a little on Tindal ($11) at those odds. (Tindal has smacked last start winner Fernandina before)

Golden Rose (Syd) - Duporth ($3.80) wasn't ridden urgent enough last start and pushed far too wide than needed to be, but still charged home. Better ride it wins. Like Desutude also, great fighting win last time out, but Duporth has more scope IMO.

Memsie (Melb) - Hussler, would be catastrophic if he does not win this. I'm developing a crush on Scenic Blast though, and Maldivian to run his usual gutsy placing.

Sprint (Melb) - Real Andretti comes she wins, only other chances look to be La Chasseuse, Bel Mer, Red Element and Miss Judgement. First four will be of them mentioned IMO.

Durban (Melb) - Command Prince $7.50 - blackbooker! Great odds. I like Moreton Bay too but this boy is all class.

Keep an eye on the Kiwi Sufficient in the Golden Rose,cant win it but here for the longer races.
He's a Zabeel who won the Champagne (1600m) at only his 2nd start in April

r1 n1- cocoa tycoon, this horse has had 2 runs this preparation, and looks ready to win!! it does have 57kg, but this isnt a strong field, and you will get good value hopefully

r 2- n3,n8 sparks fly and zapurple. im pretty sure i have blackbooked both of these horses on here before. there debut performances were ernomous and indicate they would be up to this class!!

r3 n1, vivacious spirit, class should get this mare over the line!! the only concern is the barrier 10.

r4 n9, whobegotyou- another horse who i blackbooked after its maiden win at geelong. this will be a good guide to how good he is, but i think he will measure up!!

r5 n4, blahnik- this fella is a half brother to elysees (who i have tipped in adelaide) blahnik has a huge 1st up record, and will run super tomorow. only concern is barrier 11

r6 n9 weekend hussler- will win.

r7 n8, n10 moreton bay and command prince. agree with lockyer here, these two will be in the finish. moreton bay ran well 1st up, but shattered that it has barrier 14. command prince can keep winning.

r8 n2- sonic quest, really tough race here, but i think his has a huge amount of ability, and can win, but im not oozing with confidence!!

r2 n1- elysees- freak of a horse this one!! by statue of liberty, it won a black type event on debut, and hasnt raced since!! it is filly who has 58kg, and is running against the males, so she will have to be good, but i think shes up to it!!

Sonic Quest from barrier 1 must be a query for it, usually needs a bit of room to move.


Scenic Blast opened $7.50 now into $4.50. With Weekend Hussler opening $1.80 out to $2.10. Maldivian out to $8 and Pompeii Ruler from $21 to $17.


Sydney Race 6 - Red Lord one of my personal favorites going around at $2.50, won't put any money on it but hope it puts up a good showing. Doesn't have to beat much but will need a bit of speed in the race if it is too win. It Flew home last week (or the week before that) to win by about 3 lenghts.

Outdo in race 7 has been backed from $81 into $34.

Maldivian will probably run a gutsy 3rd or 4th but i'm not sure it can beat the Hussler or Scenic Bullet over 1400.
