THE Fremantle Dockers were on the same flight as a man who has become the first person in WA to be diagnosed with swine flu.

The club has confirmed all players and several staff were on QF 481 which landed in Perth on Saturday carrying the infected 30-year-old, ABC Radio has reported.

Dockers' medical staff have contacted health officials but so far none of the players or staff have shown symptoms.

The man at the centre of the scare is believed to have caught swine flu after returning from trip to Canada, via New Zealand and Melbourne.

Despite all this the swine flu thing is pretty bad and I don't wish it to affect any of the Freo players, especially Pavlich or Brougton as they are in my supercoach team.

Would rather die then live without Supercoach . Protecting the AFL players for the sake of supercoach should be a high priority by the government when it comes to Swine Flu .

I think they might be over reacting a bit.

Don't believe the hype....on average about 750,000 people die of other influenza strains each year.

In effect the swine flu strain is actually killing at a slower rate, but if you have shares in Tamiflu everythin is sweet!
