Only problem is it is SATURDAY 29th not Sunday.....had a seniors moment. As for that comment if you believe the local media it is a definite possibility but I will believe it when I see it. It makes sense to me that the AFL would bankroll 4 games in Hobart just to avoid getting a Tassie team in the comp plus get themselves another venue for the World Cup debacle. The Tassie cricket guys are very keen to expand also. Just a watching brief I expect but Essendon are making noises too.

This is great news TT !!. I work away so unfortunately I can't make this one but can you post times etc when group will get together so I can get there at the earliest possible time to meet with a few other Tiger heads.

No ****ing way Samuel my boy! The RFC resides at Punt Rd , always has always will, its who we are! If we have to sell games to survive...why not Hobart... but if we dont leave it as is. No one loves a pilgrimage to the G via the London, Royal and Punt Rd more than me mate, as you know! This supporters thing is a great option for the weeks I dont pay to fly over. If I am gonna cry in my beer I would rather it be with a few othetr Tigerheads. lol

Thx guys, it was bloody awesome. We signed up 100 supporters club members and 10 odd RFC members on the day which was awesome given it was our first go and basically run from word of mouth. It will be huge when the word gets out. Even had one old sweetheart who was a 50+ year member who had made her daughter get her out of the nursing home for the day to come and get involved, Flea made her feel very special and it stirred something in all of us watching the old girl fire up and abuse Port and the umps..lmao Still got the passion ....is a joke when you read a lot of the doom n gloom in here compared to supporters like her. So when you blokes come down for golf, we got somewhere to go watch the game now!

It was a bloody brilliant day. The Flea and Matty Dea are two of the nicest fellas that you could meet. Matty Dea left just before kick out! Well done to Jason and his crew (and the sponsors of course) for organising a top day! Get to The Talbot, Hobart's home of the Richmond Tigers!!
