I 100% agree with this.If we come out and play our best we'll beat them.All geelong supporters can get as cocky as they want and they have a right to be.But the truth is the only thing standing in our way of back to back is not geelong,but us.
If we play the game of our lives (and we will it is the granny),i think we should win.
Who cares what the media and others say.In 2003 we went in as favourites and brisbane were injured and underdone,didn't have the best form,but they smashed us.I think we even beat them during the year and we had a cruisy finals series.Much like geelong this year.
Last year we went in as favourites and played ordinary,in the second week according to the media we were finished.St.kilda were going to win for sure.In 1990 essendon had it in the bag according to them,our form was not good enough.
In round 8 this year we lost by 3 points after a goal was disallowed.And coming off of a bye,we looked a little flat. In round 24 mick wasn't showing them nothing.Since when does leigh brown play down back??Since when does scott pendlebury spend that much time out of the midfield and on the bench??Geelongs defense will help them win compared to collingwoods defense helping collingwood win????WHAT?! Here's a few names that didnt play shaw,maxwell,davis and daisy..Half of our backline.
Apparently even a geelong supporter at the game said "collingwood are tanking this game so bad".
