Excluding Witts, which mature or ready made ruckman do you think we should go after?

Seriously, I don't know why people are still screaming out for another ruck. If we are going to go down that option, it has to be a Leigh Brown type not a genuine ruck.
We have Jolly, Wood and will add Witts. Ceglar is also developing. That's plenty
Daniel Currie, just delisted by Sydney.
23 next year, been with the best ruck coaching outfit, stuck behind Mumford Seaby Pike et al and starved of oportunity. A more mature bodied unit but with plenty of upside.
Go get him now I say.
Edit: Damn beaten by Soreplums!
Haha....
Only just snuck in!
I've been keen on us to look at him for a while. Can play up forward as well. Could play that pinch hit ruckman and be good cover for Dawes and Cloke.
I found that the L Brown 2nd Ruckman was not working well late in the Season and I started to have my Doubts.
In the GF I would love to had Wood in the Side backing up Jolly Espically with his Injury
Hindsight is a good thing regarding the grand final. Playing Goldsack instead of Fasolo was the single biggest mistake. Jolly did ok considering his injury but when Reid was limping after Hawkins it was game over.
Disagree playing 2 Injured players in Reid and Jolly was the Biggest Mistake, You could say Sack should of played instead of Reid
True but playing Jolly didnt cost us the game, he did okay against Ottens and West but was definately restricted. Reid was a gamble which didnt pay off, the Sack as a defensive forward on Scarlett or later in defence would have been invaluable considering Maxwell broke a knuckle aswell in the 1st quarter.
The Cats played Steve Johnson who ended up booting 4 goals and lost Pods in the 2nd. Sometimes you need lady luck your way.
I would be more interested to hear why you don't rate:Excluding Witts, which mature or ready made ruckman do you think we should go after?

It's a big ask to expect any of Witts Ceglar or Keefe to deliver in 2012, especially if Jolly has injury troubles again next year which is not out of the question at his age. They are all long term prospects but it's unlikely that they could play more than a couple of games next year, talks take time and they simply wont be ready.
I think we need an extra senior hardened player as insurance. Most of all he needs to be cheap. Maybe Cam Cloke is a good option.....we could rookie him in Macnamaras place and the list would not lose any team balance.
Can't understand why people view Keefe as a ruck option? Not a position he is being groomed for far as I can see
