All in all, can't be too disappointed with how we played considering the bad luck we had - worried about how we'll run out the game though.
 
Jordie panicked a bit in front of goal there, needs to get on top of that.

Poor effort from Rivers under the roof not to make the distance tbh.

We work so hard but just don't capitalise, Freo will have the legs in the 2nd half and make us pay.

Neeld really needs to press home some of the simpler stuff IMO. It's all good to work on pressure but if you can't work the footy it makes the job even harder.

Attack is the best form of defense and our attack is sloppy.

Nicho is one of the number one parties that are guilty of this. Has a dip constantly and has damaging pace but over-turns it way too often. Although I remember a certain N. Jones being fairly similar at the start of his career, so hopefully it's something that the players will get better at.

great effort with all the injured players we have, plus they got handed their last goal after some Freo player dropped the ball

I don't mind individual mistakes tbh as long as they improve, it is the lack of collective understanding that annoys me. They're having to improvise too much and getting into trouble rather than simply running to the right spots like Freo do on the rebound. We still aren't drilled yet as a team when we have the football but we've had a lot of ins and outs lately which doesn't help player understanding.

And people wonder why he is in and out of the team, he doesnt work hard enough. Simple.

Howe in the ruck. Just make sure he has a running start at all boundry throw ins and ball ups around the ground.

On Grimes, not sure if it is ankle. Im really worried, looked more like his foot to me. Crossing everything hoping it isnt another break.
 
How do we rate Couch's game so far? Had 9 disposals and 4 tackles, would love to see some of the possies be a bit more damaging though. But seems to have got off to an okay start.

Couch is looking really good.

Also Jared Rivvers should relieve Martin in the ruck, he has done it before.

Was just about to comment on Blease. Really needs to lift in the second half for us to win this IMO. Was really good in the first term I thought and completely went missing in the second.

Pleased with Couch. Sylvia and Tom Mc have been epic.
 
Yeah, great to see Sylvia playing well. Needs to have a big second half if we're going to be a realistic chance.

Aargh!!! This is absolute bull shit!!!! Bennel deserves a free not paid right in front then Freo take it end to end and score and bennel goes off hurt.
