The preview at the end of the show was stupid. We get to see Daryl running around with a crossbow which means that he is obviously going to survive.

I have a feeling that the Governor will make them fight to the death. Daryl will win with Rick's group swooping in just in time before Daryl is killed by the Governor.

I'm assuming that the smoke comes from the smoke grenades that are used by Rick's group. I find it hard to see Merle being integrated into Rick's group after what he did to Glenn and Maggie.

Its one of the sweetest shows on your eyes. Along with Justified on The Fx

Only Game of Thrones has better cinematography

That was a pretty good finale, though the climax with Merle and Daryl didn't really do anything for me. Made worse by the preview after it.

The Governor and Michonne's fight was kind of great and bizarre. Ridiculous situation where I wouldn't of minded if both snuffed it.

Cutty. Should go a top 3 character on the show in no time. Dem eyes.

But Glen's "I did" stole the show. Amazing what one season can do to a character

Pissed myself when they cut to Maggie and Iron Balls with Maggie no longer sans shirt, was imagining a collective groan from BF faithful.

Season has been a ripper, decent reward for the dialogue bog that was season 2.

after the Lakers depressing yet not surprising loss (@Vincent Chase BoshtrichBurger silverscope Look2Me4Guidance) I though this would be the worst day of my life.

But upon episode beginning my loins found life. I ceased tongue.

Newbies
when new token popped out I was like "ZOMG the guy from the first season with his kid! man he took movember seriously". then his mates came along. Heres my take:

- alpha male: Vincent Chase I see him as an older, fatter Baron Davis.
black woman: yet another angry black woman thing going on here. only room for one. her days are numbered.
- white family: dad realised what needed to be done. although we didnt see his wife getting hammered by the black man (wut?). kid needs to grow a pair. or smash beth.

In summary, I dont like newbies turning up. It detracts from the situation, and doesnt allow focus on the story at hand.

hershel should grow a pair too. wtf blocking shitface kid from going to the tombs, then letting him cause he said his dad would.
beth - maybe its the cheerleader effect, but she's getting her thing on.
shitface kid - has grown balls. told newbies where to go. his the BOSS.
carol - taking over from t-dog as a minimalist. as in minimal lines.
axel - pedo alert. carl gonna be mad.

the other place

as soon as the smoke bombs went off I was on the edge of my seat, breathing deeply. didnt quite capture lack of vision warfare IMO. reckon the players could make out the others, but only ricks team are skilled shooters so it made sense they killed more.

A moments silence please. Vale t-dog 2.0 (aka Perkins). Did the yeomans work, carried a lot of stuff, didn't complain and wanted to genuinely help. Was a sitting target on the bus, but did what he had to do. A true role player. Came on, play rugged defence, 6 fouls. Off. #larrysandersBucks

Gov - smart operator in blaming merle for the terrorist attack instead of killing him himself.
as NSWCROW said, pain wore off pretty quick. had a think about how he fought off inevitable blindness - evil and malevolence grew inside him to the extent it formed rage and masked/became inhibitors. think anakin becoming vadar (teh smile at episodes end oozed cruelty, evil and pure black heartedness).

you just knew he was gonna live. classic villain survives near death experience. at least he didnt tell idiotface andrea wtf was with the heads (ie baddie explains the plan to good guy before dying or being arrested). speaking of the moron

andrea - typical blonde. sees the heads and chaos in the govs secret room. why dont you run you ****? oh that's right, you're a dumb blonde. oh look gov's sitting there with what looks like his dead walker daughter. oh yeah ill just stroke her head, there there. oh look its daryl, ill just sit here and say nothing (until february). i hope you get shot, get gang r*ped by walkers and left for the dogs.

will need to acquire Talking Dead now for my fix.
