So which key SANFL/SAFC stakeholders have publically declared their commitment to Port Adelaide?

This is the main issue. The league directors and commisioners must declare there postion on wether they want port to succeed or not. Its untenable to have our owners actively working against us. Tell the public where they stand now..

Agree

All sorts of crap has been put up as problems for this club by our owners and media - crowds, finances, the coach and players. Sure, these issues need to be addressed but it is all in vein if our owners are actively sabotaging or killing our club through apathy.

All I ask from the powers that be is they are diligent, professional and have integrity

This is is the sanfl we're talking about...
Back stabbing, unprofessional, with no integrity..

The quickest way to bring it to a head would be to leak who has been undermining us. Then people would be forced to come out and accept/deny the reality.

Anyone on here who knows (and some have insinuated they do) should declare it immediately

Easy, if Olsen or Whicker are that behind Port why not tell each Director a juicey lie in 8 version. See which ones come out.

I'm sure Whicker and Olsen know the leak anyway

"A healthy Port Adelaide is good for football in South Australia"

Thats all you get out of the weak gutted slime. None of them will be man enough to come out and say what everyone knows.

Wouldnt trust whicker at all dont care what he says he hates us always will.

For some reason Kochie's speech reminded me of Michael Corleone addressing the Commission with the intent of figuring out who is trying to assassinate him.

"Keep your friends close"...(although that was Vito, to Michael)

Gee it's good to hear KT and Kochie speaking from exactly the same playbook:
"yes we are sorting ourselves out on field, and we will eventually sort out the off field saboteurs as well".

Keep repeating that message strongly enough and they will eventually re-frame the bloody debate just enough. When Kochie mentions "the tradition of SA footy", he means Port Adelaide, and he works a mention of Crows fans in as well. Much as we here suffered through it, those two Crows flags are a far more important part of SA Footy tradition now than 10 years of Centrals SANFL flags will ever be. When Crows fans eventually wake up and demand their own "independence", it'll be game over for the leeches of Turner Drive. And we will have led the way (yet again).

Certainly Haysman decided to raise the issues, and paid the price for it, but these guys seem to be doing it much smarter. To be fair it didn't seem that Duncanson was at all cut out for the cut throat political side of the job and I never really heard of him actively supporting his CEO in the way Kochie is backing up KT's messages. And I think Haysman's legacy in part might also be that by stirring up the mud he dragged Andrew D into giving us some attention at a time when he probably would have preferred to have been focused on the start-up frameworks for GC and GWS. It's all progress.

Just on this, the first man to break cover and raise our banner was always going to get it between the eyes.

Can you imagine if we'd trundled along in silence a la the JJ administration and David Koch suddenly piped up and went "the business model's screwed, we need to go to Adelaide Oval, we have to merge the Power and the Magpies" - he'd be vilified as an out-of-touch eastern seaboard razzle-dazzle kook and would find himself floating down the Torrens much like Haysman did.

PS - They've apparently still got it in for Bucky after all these years and he was deemed fit to sit on their commission at one point.

Really ? Yeah if that's even halfway true it's all the evidence anyone needs. Bucky is one of the most decent blokes you're ever likely to meet. Someone who can't get along with Bucky must have serious Issues upstairs.

Agreed but better still; use the Corporations Act! I think is the angle we are pursuing
