Disagree. Yes they've got Cameron but Buddy will cop more intense defensive pressure than he ever has and wont get as much service. Currently defences need to worry about Roughead, Franklin, Hale, Gunston, Puopolo, Rioli etc etc.
GWS this year average incredibly low inside 50 stats, not so at Hawthorn. GWS will want him to stay inside 50, he tends to roam more at Hawthorn picking up cheap stats.
Reckon his points per game will drop if he goes to GWS.

Jonathan Brown's average DT per year was 94, 87, 95, 87. Since 2010 Brisbane have been toward the bottom of the league in inside-50s, and Brown's average DT per year has been 67, 79, and 64.

Yep, Buddy is past his best. I believe he will average 60 - 65 next year, there'll be a couple of big scores, but nothing what we've seen.
He'll get frustrated, give away more frees with stupid sling tackles.

Collingwood are 5th in the league in inside-50s...Cloke has one of the best midfields in the league feeding him the ball. are you implying Cloke is in a poor team?

well no, their 2010-12 seasons have been much better than their 2013 thus the 'collingwood not doing as well as they have'

here's my thoughts
- really the general structure at the start of the year (depends if there are good rookies) allows you to have 4 gun forwards and that one relatively cheap forward so you think value especially with 44 trades
-prior to this year, his averages have been great: 99, 102, 101 (yes i know he had that 200 which pumped that up a bit) but still a gun, you dont get those numbers
-i made the cloke reference because of the parallels between their contract situations and how he has bounced back
-the thing with buddy is that he is a CHF, he plays a DT friendly game where he is CHF. Throughout the second half of the year he has been injured/played in a new role so Gunston has played their role and thats why he's been doing quite well
-Adam Tomilson is a SECOND YEAR CHF who has been averaging 74 and has a 83 3 game mean, not bad considering how he not good as cameron or franklin. shows that chf dont heavily rely on In50s
-buddy aging? come on he's only 26
-i think riewoldt shows that buddy is a a viable option. he is getting up their in age and is still scoring well when in an average teams but he's been getting a lot of touches and marks up the field and is destroying it DT wise

i must admit i dont watch most GWS game but every time I do Tomilson does play CHF expect for that collingwood came when timmy mohr got injured (he impressed vs port). also every time i check teams he's listed as CHF.having said that they seem to be playing giles/brogan as an extra tall so cmaeron has been recently floating b/n that FF and CHF role (like vs collingwood)

Huh? The lines might be mirky between CHF and FF these days but Tomlinson is without a doubt the lead up CHF. He has a massive tank and works way further up the ground. When he is having a quiet game he goes down back but other than that, he is the CHF.

While I agree that Buddy will not be near 2010-11 Buddy in 2014, this isnt a great argument because a lot of this has to do with the fact that Brown is winding down his career, where Buddy is close to his peak at 26, vs the 30+ that Brown has been the last few years.

I think you are missing the point. I don't agree that 'a lot' of it has to do with Brown's age...if you don't have a midfield that can get you the ball, key position forwards are not going to score big. NRoo is winding up his career too, but he's still getting it done (although he does move up the ground more than probably any CHF). If Buddy does go to GWS, he's going from a team that has one of the best inside-50 rates to one of the worst, hence why I gave the Brown example.

In saying that though I think you are disregarding GWS' improvement next year. Give them another preseason and that team will be a more capable side. Not sure how buddy would score if he decides to go there but I'm sure GWS will improve on their current forward fifty entry and efficiency.
