Just confirmed delistment by the Suns, surely will get another chance at another club? Wouldn't mind St Kilda looking at him.

Gillbee, Wilkinson, Horsley, Patrick other confirmed delistings form the Suns.
 
wow, him and toy have been misses for the 17yr old pre listings. must say GWS got FAR more out of the initiative than the suns.

never really found his niche and got played as a lock down small defender. deserves another go for sure.
 
Only trouble with Mav is his two way running. Can find it no problem at all, but just the defensive pressure is really lacking. That's why we played him as a small defender, tried to teach him accountability. Obviously didn't really work. Can butcher it a bit by foot too, but will probably get picked up.

The saints should pick up Weller & Wilkinson very quietly and laugh all the way to the draft with high picks in tact! Take Jack Billings with No.3 & hopefully get Dayle Garlett with No.20.. KPD with our next pick or other way round if no wants garlett again

Pass on Wilkinson, we have plenty who play his position. No chance we'd take him
 
Mav Weller, Jacob Gillbee, Kyal Horsley, Liam Patrick and Joel Wilkinson are the 5 players from the Gold Coast Suns that were not offered contract extensions into 2014 and beyond.

Do you think any clubs will show interest in any of these?I think Wilkinson and Horsley have to get picked up somewhere. A fair bit of potential there.

Maybe Maverick Weller will come back to the major football industry, remember when there was a rumor (rumour) where he was go to the Hawthorn Football Club, but he was staying at the Gold Coast Football Club and give a new contract.
Perhaps he will go to the Hawthorn Football Club or any other club are on the national draft or the pre-season draft.

Because he is already delisted, I hope the saints pick up Maverick Weller as a free agent
 
Mav Weller would be ideal for Melbourne or St Kilda for some midfield grunt. Has some flaws but there is a bit to work with IMO.

Weller is 21, he's hardly a has-been. Dylan Roberton has worked out well for them this year and he was a DFA.

Recycling is fine if you pick up the right sort of player. Weller is the right sort of player. I'd hope his old assistant coach Ken Hinkley is looking closely at him.

I skimmed over and was like wtf? Without looking at the user I realised mid way through it could only be one man. He has returned to us!
