I think you may find North Melbourne are sniffing around Betts with a rather sizable offer.

We have known that for a while, I just can't see him going to North. Makes no sense, and I doubt North's offer would be any larger than ours.

Their offer is exactly the issue. And I do know that North has now officially put an offer to his manager that is larger than yours.

I know you won't reveal your sources, but is your source usually close with stuff like this? It's just that redhorse seemed very adamant about Betts coming here less than a week ago.

Why would North offer more than us? I can't see how he fills any need for them. And how would they be freeing up cash for this?

This source is always on the money and I was told about this this morning. But it must be stressed that I don't know the actual size of the offer, I just know they've put an offer to his manager that's larger than yours. Betts may have already agreed to terms with you and North may simply be coming in with a belated offer to try and sway him at the last moment.

Betts father lives in SA and not Arden street, hence why he would be more likely to come here instead of NM.

I would be happy to get Polec, but last year recuiting and trading was so poor it wasnt funny. I dont have faith in them to make any of those deals.

That may well be what happens. I didn't say Betts had chosen North Melbourne, I said North Melbourne had made an offer to Betts' manager that's larger than the one you made.

Eddie has agreed to ours terms and as I have said my info says North have not offered Betts a deal. Maybe talks between club and manager but Adelaide is the only "tabled" offer for Betts.

Common sense says that North don't need a Betts also as other people on here have mentioned + Wheres is this magical "bigger offer" than ours going to come from. They have an improving list with no players looking to leave.

Ill hopefully know alot more soon. Just text my souce. Waiting on a Reply...I 100% believe what Im told by him.
