Can anyone give any insight to Broadford football club? Rumours of up to 6 ex afl players on their list next year and some quality country recruits. Ralph Clarke, Lance Picone, Cam Mooney all look set to join Barry Hall at the Roos next year.

There was alot of hype about broadford this time last year too and they didn't make the finals. All these ex AFL players would be great for them but if they only play 5 or 6 games is it really worth it? Good luck to them but don't get caught up in the ex AFL hype.

Unless your going to get a player to play all year it's not worth it except to bring money through the gates .
Then you have to have the draw go your way for instance you don't want to play an ex afl player in a game against a club lower than your own.
Speaking of ex afl players any truth Campbell brown playing for a RDFL club

Yea I agree, I'd never have Hall play in my side.

What a ridiculous comment any club would have Barry play ( look at the pulling power he had last year especially at romsey in the night game also he is a top bloke ask any one that was there )he is also very proactive with our kids coming through and with his time he puts back into the club .
As I posted earlier in the year broadford missed finals last year by a game only one two t he year prior and none the year before.
A bit of spit and polish added and a good run with injuries and they will be there about
As for the other afl recruits don't no what your on about or do we ??? (Why the intrest )
Broadford has been very proactive in recruiting but we don't need to advertise it !

Why do you think that RDFNL people, would have interest in an RDFNL club?? It's clearly not something that has ever happened before, so why would it happen now?? So very strange...

Also understand people have intrest in who we are recruiting but due to past posts by people we believe it best left to round one to unvale our recruits

Nobody waits until Round 1, although your "recruits" don't exist until after February 1st anyway, but that period is when your recruits will be "unveiled", there will also be several people around the competition that will head along to practice games for a look, so many of your recruits will be "unveiled" there.

Shame you deleted your last post, which once again saw you respond without reading.

Please, do me a personal favour, can you not respond to the same post 4 times every single time... Take your time, think about what you want to write, READ the post that you are responding to, and then respond.

See, improving already, prior to my post, this would have been 5 different posts.

[*] I got into the post because I am fed up.
[*] Barry Hall is an outstanding former star forward from the AFL. A comment was made that playing an ex AFL player that couldn't commit to an entire year was pointless, a follow up response to that comment was to sarcastically respond that "I wouldn't have Hall in my side", the follow up response to that, which was yours, was complete garbage BECAUSE YOU FAILED TO READ THE POST.

Any way the season will come around and were all under the same banner RDFL and looking forward to another interesting season with twists turns ad hopefully clubs pushing for spots in the finals that haven't been there for a while

Yea sorry for the confusion. I would squeeze Barry Hall into my forward line, I hope this straightens things up.

I quite frankly don't care what you do at Broadford, I was merely stating that it would be exciting for the league to have this sort of talent running around. Agree to disagree but It's my show is right your sarcasm needs some work.

Perhaps you are reading my posts incorrectly
And taking the angle the wrong way
This is the problem with social media unless you hear the tone of a conversation it can be interpreted in many ways
It seems by some that there views may be tainted
So I suggest unless you are a part of or have been apart of a club then if your going to pass judgement
On a club or there volunteers then be prepared to be question
After re reading the past posts my point is valid as it can be read on both sides
And we volunteers are passionate about our club and our league.
So instead of continuously posting comments without substance perhaps clarify your posts so they are not read in a way that they can be incorrectly interpreted .
I have been also guilty of this not on purpose and will insure it does not happen again

I have spoken to at least 3 different individuals that have had conversations with yourself in regards to these rumours, so you can play the "keeping the cards close to the chest" card all you like, the reality of the situation is much much different and your method of responding is a way of provoking a response and you are well aware of this.

Or maybe I am giving you far more credit than you deserve, re-reading the structure and direction of your posts, maybe this is the case.

So if it is not stated as one then people must have facts
Only stating that a lot said on this sight is miss read
Perhaps you are giving me to much credit
And perhaps others are spreading rumours

FACTS have very little to do with anything, if the site was reduced to facts only, I would be required to delete a vast majority of your posts.

I'm quoting a conversation you've had with a Romsey player who was at the Broadford primary graduation one night this week gloating your recruits to get him across the line. The name dropping you happen to do that took place that night indicated to
me that the very names that came up in convo confirmed my rumours and other sources creditable Info. Anything else you want truth putting too?

I'm also aware of the consistent conversations your having with numerous Romsey and Lancefield
Players? Not to mention constantly heckling other RDFL coaches for info and the latest scope.

I'm quoting fact now

1- Only persons at graduation where dipper and Dawson and only said good day to cam while passing his table to grab dinner all of 3 seconds there was no footy chat as we where at our children's graduation and I don't discuss footy 24/7.
2- There was no footy discussion at all and also have never spoken to any lancefield players as don't no any .

3- it was saint Mary's graduation at lancefield last week not broadford .
4- have had conversation with one other coach who also has contacted me at times in mutual discussions.
5- And what's the issue of getting another scope from a successfull coach all footy coaching staff should be doing it to better the game and there ability to coach .

6- Have you spoken to Any players from clubs ?
7- Best stick to coaching rather than story telling also like all clubs don't understand your concern as we have had players spoken to by other clubs but thats footy.

try posting positive posts for two weeks discussing your club rumours re players or footy in general instead of attacking individuals

I have had regular talks with Sambookaman about several topics of late, to be honest I haven't shared this info because its not for me to tell. If the things I am hearing from you are correct then Broadford will definitely be on the move up the ladder. More facts than rumours I believe.

As for my own footy club hopefully we will have our list sorted just after the new year, been a very busy few months with all the recruiting and re-signing players that went on. Should be several ex AFL players running around the RDFL in 2014.

The comp is moving in the right direction that's a fact.

The comp is getting massive. The crowds in the RDFL dwarf the benfl and balfl. It builds the finance to grow the league. This would be the fastest growing league in Victoria. This league is heading back to the glory days and will be a power house in the near feature.
